Mona Daniella's Prayers - Arayat, also referred to as Mishmara - for the 11 Months ( in the Jewish Calendar) will be at the Beth Edmond (Safra) Synagogue on Tuesday, August 15, 2017.
According to the Jewish religion, the 11 Months prayers are important - it is when the judgement of the soul of the deceased ends, and going forward the soul will only ascend to the "World to Come". During the first year the soul of the deceased needs to spend some time on earth to be purified before it can enter the "World to Come", and the soul ascends and descends several times; it also comes to its home - a candle is lit in the home of the deceased the entire year, for the soul not to be frightened from the dark).
Prayers will be followed by speeches and appetizers with refreshments. 11 East 63rd Street, (Between Madison and Fifth Avenues) New York, New York
Mona Daniella was a sensitive, gentle, kind, and caring person. She epitomized "Chessed", Loving-Kindness. She fought extremely hard. In a 2014 email I wrote to her that she was the bravest, the brightest, the most determined and the most resilient. Indeed she was. And much more.
