A week ago, on October 06, 2019, an anonymous "friend" left the following comment:
"Mona would not have wanted you to do this. Mona cared deeply about Dr Muir and Dr. MacMillan. She would be heartbroken to see what you are trying to do. In your heart of hearts, you know that."
No, anonymous friend. In my heart of hearts I do not know that. Neither do you. You have ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA about what went on. You have no idea about how Dr. Owen Muir aka Dr. Scott Muir "lost it" (in Mona's own words). You have no idea about the needless and senseless suffering that Mona went through in their hands. If Mona cared deeply about Dr. Owen Muir aka Dr. Scott Muir she would not have wanted to change psychiatrists. And she would not have left the negative review in Yelp.
Take a look at the screenshot below from the SMS exchange between Dr. Owen Muir aka Dr. Scott Muir and Mona. This is mild compared to other screenshots.
So no anonymous friend, Mona did not care deeply about Dr. MacMillan and Dr. Owen Muir aka Dr. Scott Muir. Reading about what really went on - classic malpractice and negligence - explains why on the same day that Mona was buried both Drs. MacMillan and Muir were so eager to get Mona's journals - to the point of telling her aunt "it was Mona's wishes that they (Drs. MacMillan and Muir) get her journals. It was not. In fact Mona wanted to publish them. They wanted to destroy the evidence against them. if you read what's inside those SMS you would be horrified. In your heart of hearts. Dr. Muir "lost it" more than once. Dr. MacMillan did nothing about it - not once. The relationship was harmful. That's malpractice and negligence right there. Let the courts decide. Let the judge and jury read everything. And let them decide.
Go to Yelp reviews. Mona is not the only nor first case of negligence, and of malpractice. Please read the screenshot below - it's a review by a physician. That speaks volumes.
One last question: why are you anonymous? None of Mona's friends have been anonymous until now. Why won't you say who you are?
The effects of Mona Daniella's suicide on our family and friends are still devastating. There are no words to describe the intense emotional pain and sadness we feel about her loss. We grieve her every day; we no longer have any interest in activities we used to do together.
The worse part is the emptiness. the emptiness that nothing will ever be able to fill, nothing that anyone can ever do a thing about it.
We are beyond grateful to Mona Daniella's friends who reach out to us in private.
Mona Daniella was a sensitive, gentle, kind, and caring person. She epitomized "Chessed", Loving-Kindness. She fought extremely hard. In a 2014 email I wrote to her that she was the bravest, the brightest, the most determined and the most resilient. Indeed she was. And much more.
