Remembering  17

Picture
Zac Mordechai Levovitz, Mona's friend, US
The loss is indescribable and the hurt that you must  be feeling is endless. I can only believe that the love that you and Mona have lived forever. Love never dies. And it lives on in you, and in everything good in the world. It's just not fair, and life is too cruel. All we can do is try to take warmth in each other and try to make the world just a little better in her honor. The world is a cruel place. All we can do is honor her memory, try to understand a little more of what she was going through and try to make the world a little better for the other Monas in the Orthodox and Syrian communities.

The Stonewall Chorale
Mona was loved to sing. She had sung at The Children's Aid Society, at the Boston's City Singers, and was accepted to the competitive Stonewall Chorale; she was so happy to sing. Mona was thrilled to have participated with the Chorale singers in the Pride Parade in 2016 - her first (please see picture). Below please read the beautiful tribute posted on their website. The Stonewall Chorale will celebrate their 40th Season's Concert on December 3rd and 4th, 2016. They will dedicate Stanford's "The Bluebird" to Mona's memory. For those interested, please kindly purchase tickets directly from their website The Stonewall Chorale - Buy Tickets.

I'm shocked and saddened to hear about your passing. Your talent and vibrancy were a great asset to the Boston City Singers. My heart goes out to your family.

"You were so kind to me when I joined the Stonewall Chorale as a stranger. I'm so sorry for the burden you carried. Thank you for the goodness and love you gave to the world."
