One Month Memorial   1

On October 30th, 2016, the 30 days' Memorial Service (also referred to Mishmarah in Hebrew, and Arayat in the Sephardic custom) for Mona Daniella was held at the Edmond J. Safra Synagogue. Tehilim (Psalms reading) started at 3:00 PM, followed by the tributes at 5:00 PM, with refreshments and food.
We thank profusely all those who came from near and far to honor Mona's memory. We also thank you for your beautiful notes, and for your extraordinary support.

​A special thank you to Sarah Spitz who made stunning, large care packages (in baskets) in Memory of Mona, and brought them from Boston with her mom, Mindy, in the rain. Sarah put in each care package a journal because Mona loved to write, a small, adorable TY elephant - because Mona loved elephants, Lego because Mona loved Legos - it was helpful to distract herself from anxiety, among other things. Sarah had the kind consideration to put Kosher snacks. We will be sending those care baskets to those whom we believe will be helpful.
