Our hearts remain filled with sadness. May memories of Mona strengthen you as you navigate through the difficult days ahead.
The poet Ellen Brenneman shares her heartfelt words with us on the loss of a daughter,
"We can't know why the lily has so brief a time to bloom in the warmth of sunlight's kiss
upon its face before it folds into its fragrance and bids the world good night to rest its
beauty in a gentler place.
But we can know that nothing that is loved is ever lost and no one has touched a heart can really pass away because some beauty lingers on in each memory of which they've been a part."
May we make a visit to you on Friday?...... please let us know. Much love, Barbara & Jack
Rest in peace Mona. You fought long and hard; I'll always miss your infectious smile even though it was hiding so much pain. I hope you have finally found the peace that you have been searching for. ❤️

Dear Esther, it has been so long since we have seen each other but I still remember the good times we had in deal. We were both from different parts of the world and I guess that's what we had in common. I have been thinking about you all week and want to tell you how sorry I am for your tragedy. There are no words ... My heart goes out to you and Alan. I would like to visit you this week if that is OK with you. Rosh Hashanah starts tonight and I am wishing you peace.
Sending you my Sincere condolences, Suzy Dweck

Very Dear Esther & Haddad Family,
I learned the sad and shocking news from Feride last week. I am so very very sad and sorry for your loss. This is a time when words are not enough to express our feelings.
I wish all of you patience and offer my condoleances.
May she rest in peace.
Please be brave and strong, all my prayers are with you.

Mona was always such a ray of sunshine and I'll never forget her massive smile that filled the room with light. I hope these help you remember her for all the joy that she brought into your life, as short as her own may have been. That's how I will choose to remember her. May her memory always be a blessing.
Deepest regrets and condolences,

I met Mona when I was a patient at 3 east. I heard about her death shortly afterwards. I am so so sorry for the pain you are going through at this moment. Mona was extremely gifted and an absolute beautiful person. She had a unique personality which only added more to her beauty. I cannot imagine how you are feeling. She will be greatly missed. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers.
