The night before I started classes at college and was nervous about textbooks and the transition, you eased my butterflies and helped me feel comfortable and excited again. I am so lucky to have had you in my life. You made the world brighter with your kindness, wisdom, megawatt smile, sensitivity to others, and gentle spirit. You left such a deep impact on countless lives. Rest in peace. ."

"Mona Daniella was a camper of mine at Fernwood Cove in 2005. I hadn't heard from her since leaving camp that summer until this June. She found me on Facebook and messaged me to tell me how special camp had been to her. It warmed my heart hearing what that place meant. I am so very sorry to hear of her passing. My heart goes out to her family and friends. May you now rest peacefully, sweet Mona." "I'm so incredibly sorry that you are dealing with such loss. Mona was a sweet girl whose smile lit up the place while at camp! I am currently traveling around Europe and have no access to my old photos (as those shots were all on CD back then). I can have a look for them when I return to the states in a couple of weeks. In the meantime, my former co-counselors are working hard to find some old bunk pictures. I will share this message with them so they can then share the photos with you. I also shared the news of Mona's passing with the Fernwood Cove community...if any photos surface from that, then I'll be sure to let you know.
