Mona Daniella - Chorus 1 |
Mona was gifted in music. She grew up playing the piano, violin, and loved to sing. Throughout the years she sang in several chorus, in New York, NY, and in Boston, MA.

The Children's Aid Society was the first major chorus that Mona joined. Their focus on giving young singers professional experiences in the rich theatrical and musical venues unique to New York City sets them apart from other choruses. Chorus participants practice and perform with artistry a mixture of popular, musical theater, jazz, classical, and world music. The chorus encourages intercultural awareness as members come from many ethnic, cultural, and socio-economic backgrounds.
Mona's very good friend and neighbor - Sasha Goodfriend was in that chorus and helped her get an audition. Below is one of our favorite songs - where Mona is singing 900 miles with the chorus. 900 Miles - Lyrics
I am walkin' on this track I've got tears in my eyes I'm tryin' to read a letter from my home And if a train runs me right I'll be home Saturday night 'Cause I'm nine hundred miles from my home And I hate to hear that lonesome whistle blow That long lonsome train whistlin' down miles and miles and miles and miles miles and miles from home miles and miles and miles and miles miles and miles from home Well this train that I ride on is a hundred coaches long You can hear her whistle blow a million miles And if a train runs me right I'll be home Saturday night 'Cause I'm nine hundred miles from my home miles and miles miles and miles miles and miles and miles miles and miles and miles miles and miles and miles and miles and miles and miles and miles and miles and miles and miles and miles and miles and miles and miles and miles and miles and miles And I hate to hear that lonesome whistle blow That long lonesome train whistlin' down |
